Veterinary Referral: Why is this needed?
As a Veterinary Physiotherapist, I work under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Veterinary Surgeons Exemption Order (2015). Therefore I can only treat your animal once I have received a Referral Form from your surgeon.
This ensures I have permission to treat, but also receive the information to enable me to choose a safe and effective treatment. I will continue to work closely with your Veterinary Surgeon and provide frequent updates.
